Roles & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for SaaS products in Ruby on Rails
  • Interacting with internal and external teams to understand the requirements.
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Identifying bugs and troubleshooting our clients’ issues.
  • Application deployment on AWS Services/Google Cloud.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in databases like MongoDB/PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming(OOPs) concepts, data structures, algorithms, APIs, web services.
  • Experience in JS (Skills of AngularJS/ReactJS will get preference)
  • Understanding of version control tools - Git/SVN.
  • Understanding of TDD & BDD using Rspec/Cucumber
  • Understanding of application deployment architecture (CICD pipelines / PaaS like CircleCI, Heroku etc.)

As an IT manager, you need to be able to think about how technology can help your company grow and how to allocate your resources to get the most out of them.
